Hello BeadsFriends!
In this video I want to show the last abstract cabochons I made. For the green cabochons I used white Kato Polyclay, translucent Premo and translucent green Fimo. For the second kind of cabochon I used the same colours of Kato Polyclay and Premo, and I added a colour called Royal Blue by Cernit and glitter silver Fimo. The last three cabochons I show you are made using the same four colours of polymer clays, but I used al lot of translucent Premo, much more than in the previous ones. To create the polymer clay cabochons you have to condition all the polymer clay colours you want to use. Then you have to put all these polymer clay shits side by side and you have to start mixing all these shits, in your favourite way. I usually create a roller and then I roll it up and squeeze it, and I roll it up again until I'm satisfied about the colours mix. At this point I cut a piece of my cane and I work it in my hands until it becomes a little ball, and then I use a mold to create my cabochon. It's really very simple, you just have to mix the colour and nothing else. I hope these cabochons can be an ispiration for you and see you soon on the next video!

Sara.

  • HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO SHINE LIKE THAT.

  • @boytoc1 I use the Pearl-ex Varnish. This is my only secret ;-)

  • I loved them.. but you should show us how to make them... I'll be reallly thakful

  • @JalPari4t you just have to mix the colour you like, and then making the cabochon using a mold. If you want that al the colours are well mixed you have to work the polymer clays for a long time, while if you prefer your cabochon to have separate colours you don't have to work the polymer clays for a long time.
