Lol, this is typical American propaganda. I'm a Communist and I support the 1956 Hungarian Revolution against the USSR, but that wasn't Communism it was Stalinism.

America and Russia were both dictatorships, America still remains one...

I agree with you that this is also propaganda, but all countries use propaganda for their own purposes. The fact remains that the viscious Red Army obliterated half of Hungary,while the country was ready to be a multi-system democracy. Yes, it was not Communism as Marx and Engels had envisioned it, but by now the word "Communism" brings these images to mind.
