  • lol at the stone for his missing chariot

  • Xiangqi is a very interesting form of chess. It's probably close to the original game. I like it because there's no queen, no pawn chain, lots of tactics, hand to hand fighting all over the board. Not for weakies.

  • I am Chinese but I dont know how to play lol

  • uMadBro?

  • @keepaopenmind what do you mean xiangqi is close to the original game? i believe you mean CHESS is close to the original game (xiangqi). Xiangqi came out about 1000 years before chess get your facts right

  • so in essence, tactics are very strong in chinese chess compared to international chess. Where playing a good positional chess yields more success.

  • @kikook222

It's not that International chess is less tactical, it's the fact that to excel in international chess, you have to understand positions. since playing tactically is very difficult for the human mind. This is because international chess is less suited as a tactical game. There is a reason why a computer can beat the top player in international chess, but not in Chinese chess. Because there are more possibilities, and moves, making it much more tactical.

  • @kikook222 Well, give Xiangqi a try and see for yourself. Both are very tactical, but it seems to me Chinese Chess is more of an open battle. Easy to penetrate the opposing forces. The king is more restricted and more easily mated. Actually, I didn't say regular chess is less tactical. But now that you mention it, yeah, I'd say it is.

  • @keepaopenmind Everything you just stated why you think chess has less tactics are the things that make chess more tactical than this.

  • @keepaopenmind well your a weaky once so you dun play it?

  • Nub... who oso noe this... ==''

  • @Iamatheist1234 Certainly...all the time. But if humans play carelessly, the computer will surely win, since it never makes tactical mistakes. Search and read the book "A Psychiatrist Pits His Wits Against Fritz".

Even I have beat several different programs.
