The Rab TGO Challenge 2011 - Part 1

The Rab TGO Challenge 2011 Part One. Walking, maps and gear! You join us on the 2011 crossing from the West to East Coast of Scotland during May 2011 as part of the TGO Challenge. In this episode we start at the lovely village of Mallaig before taking the ferry across to Inverie and hiking over to camp by the loch at Barrisdale. The following day we continue in the miserable weather to the small bothy at Alltbethie. After another wet night, we continue to the forest near Invergarry and camp on a muddy forest track at Greenfield. In each episode we intend to break down and show the gear we used and comment how it performed. This time we look at our shelter and sleeping system and discuss the following: Terra Nova Solar 2, Rab Neutrino SL sleeping bag, Pod Sacks, Backpackinglight silk sleeping liner, Thermarest Prolite 3 short, Klattermusen Liv down smock, Rab Photon Pants, women's Pacific Outdoors Peak Elite, women's Rab Neutrino sleeping bag, Golite Cumulus down jacket.
