Harbor Freight Neptune twin engine boat on Ft Myers Lake

This is the SDM Neptune sold at Harbor Freight for $49.99. It is a great little boat and easily controllable and reasonably fast. It steers by varying the speed on one of the two 380 motors. There is no reverse. I purchased a fast charger and an additional 7.2v Nimh battery from my local hobby shop. The included charger claims up to a 5 hour charge time. The fast charger can do it in either 1 or 2 hours depending on how you set it.

@reptifreak99 I don't use the charger that came with the boat. I got a spare battery and a better quality charger at a local hobby shop. It charges much faster and can handle other batteries as well. As a general rule it is good practice to NOT leave charging NiMH and Lithium batteries unattended while charging as in rare instances they have been known to catch fire.

i have the same boat from the same place but my batterie says dont charge for more then 3 hours and dont leave it away from adult supervison
