@mass1dasc This thing can almost duplicate Raptor moves without TVC. Imagine if they said the hell with it....lets put 2 or 3d TVC on this bad boy!!!!!

I got to talk to these guys Friday night, very cool and down to earth folks, both the pilot & WSO. I was right underneath them as they exited the dirty roll on friday, got some great photos. The Super Hornet is one of my favorite demos simply because of the pitch authority of this aircraft. And it does it all without thrust vectoring of any kind. Its an impressive machine, people look at me funny when I say the Super Hornet is my number 1 favorite fighter, and that the Raptor is my number 2. :D

I agree with you 100%. The pitch authority of the Super Hornet is nut's for it to not have any thrust vectoring capability. Its a kick ass plane. Hell I like the leagcy hornet better than the Raptor. Don't know why.
