Shill Definition:

A shill is an associate of a person selling goods or services or a political group, who pretends no association to the seller/group and assumes the air of an enthusiastic customer. The intention of the shill is, using crowd psychology, to encourage others unaware of the set-up to purchase said goods or services or support the political group's ideological claims.

Shilling is illegal in many circumstances and in many jurisdictions because of the frequently fraudulent and damaging character of their actions. Shill" can also be used pejoratively to describe a critic who appears either all-too-eager to heap glowing praise upon mediocre offerings, or who acts as an apologist for glaring flaws. In this sense, they would be an implicit "shill" for the industry at large, as their income is tied to its prosperity.

What they seem to be forgetting is that when the big boys come on and they give them the front page, they will be on the back burner for the most part, unless youtube completely backed down and will not make those changes any more.

After reading this article you can only come up with 2 conclusions. Either the article was wrong, or youtube caved and did not make those types of changes yet. Either way something happened. I am more inclined to believe that the article was correct and youtube scaled back the changes a bit to make it seem like the changes were not nearly as drastic as they were made out to be. This way they would be able to save face by only making a fraction of the changes they were originally going to implement here on youtube. If they scaled back the original changes this allows them to back out gracefully from their original changes, but not actually have to show that they caved in under the pressure.

I have learned one thing over the years with youtube. They never like to admit that they ever did anything wrong. Even when they took my video down from a false copyright claim, they just acted like "whatever".

notice that they have still not unflagged my videos. They are sticking to their guns and saying that they still deserve to be flagged. READ THE COMMENTS. Virtually NO ONE thinks they should bee flagged. How can you reason with a company that handles their business like this?

I still think they will make those changes or something like them and they just want to avoid any major backlash from the community. They know that over time people get tired of the fight. That was what happened to viacom and the DMCA reform.

I think all those channels they suspended and all those videos removed from youtube have made people very unhappy with the direction of this website. Clearly the incredible support of the video Hulu Tube was a very clear indication of how upset people have been over the last year of how this site has been run. I will give a proper thank you for all the support real soon, but I pretty much see a few things coming and I wanted to get this video out before they do.

Thanks to all of you that really made this message heard. I know I made the video, but without all of you supporting it, nothing happens. So thank you. Keep an eye out for my next video. I think you will like it.
