83 Toyota Pickup, High Performance Beating

most of this was in second gear, and when it would start bogging, i would slam the clutch down, and take it up to 6000 rpm's then drop the clutch quick, that seemed to do the ticket. this truck has about 1 to 1.5 quarts of oil in it during all of this. toyota's rock!!!

haha, damn right man :) Just keep an eye out for frame rust. But, if you're going to make a romper, i wouldn't worry about it, just weld what ever metal you want to it to reinforce it :) They are really incredible machines, no fucking doubt about it.

So you'd have felt better if when the head gasket blew, the prev owner had sent it to the junk yard to be crushed? Thats where it was headed before i got it. Do you you think a truck should have another lease on life, and be enjoyed to the fullest, or that they should be destroyed? And before you start saying i am destroying it, Here's the definition of destroy:
