False there is a lot of discrimination about gays and lesbians in the military and most will do like me and keep it to ourselves people are not stupid and yes now gays and lesbians can be open about it but no one will if you are in the military you will understand how much people hate them. So your opinion is that just your opinion. I am gay and I don't know what it does to help anyone mostly it will backfire and get someone hurt for some stupid reason. Is what it is.
