The Disclosure Project -- In a historical press conference at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. on May 9th 2001 several respectable high ranking government, military and intelligence community witnesses testified to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and a cover-up that keeps that information secret. These witnesses have stated that extraterrestrials are real, that highly advanced craft called UFOs indeed exist and that covert and
clandestine programs are in the possession of revolutionary and fully operational energy generation and antigravity propulsion technologies. About 450 more witnesses are willing to testify under oath if they are given protection through official Congressional hearings. The event was broadcasted in the Internet and has been watched by several hundred thousands of people -- at that time a record in terms of streaming media. Most of the major media outlets such as CNN, The Voice of America, Larry King, ABC News, MSNBC, Washington Post, FOX News, BBC and several others have reported on the conference. How do the extraterrestrials get here? The Ministry of Defence will release a total of 160 files dating back to that time to the National Archives in Kew.

The first files will be made available in Spring 2008 and the process is expected to take three years.

The MoD has received reports of over 10,000 UFO sightings since the UFO project was set up in 1950.
