  • Susan Boyle has a great amateur voice and it is unfair to compare her to a seasoned trained professional like Lea. I have heard both live, Susan deserves credit for managing to capture hearts and bring happiness to many people, but to a musician (I am a musician myself) who has worked with professional singers, there is a abyss between what will stir an audience in a frenzy in a show such as Pop Idol etc and musicians whose body of recorded work stands the test of time. Keep listening :-)

  • Give Susan her due for her courage to sing this anthem of the musical theatre, Lea her due she is an actress she made it what is for folks like Susan to aspire. We need both in the appreciation of music.

  • what a voice!! both of them are good singers. i love them both!!

  • lea voice has FULL RANGE very clear and smooth LOW to HIGH NOTES ... susan is GOOD

  • @kashmir0203340 Oh wow!!! we think alike. Lea for me is the best of the best Eponine ever but as Fantine.. she's only second to Ruthie Henshall for me. Patti Luponne the orig. Fantine be the 3rd.

  • The rise of Susan Boyle and Paul Potts in recent times actually inspire a lot of people disillustioned and suffered since GFC - that the underdogs can win one day.

  • Eure Interpretation.

  • Leah is not well known because she is an asian...but listen to her perfect voice. She deserves an award for this performance.

  • They are both good singers. But if you are looking for the perfect performer for this song. It is Leah. Listen again...........It is all perfect. While Ms. Boyle is an amateur. Try to listen again...

  • Lea is a professional singer born with amazing natural tallent and was on the king and I at the age of seven thats over 30 years of vocal coahing.

  • Obviously it's lea. She's a professional singer. But Ms. Boyle is good on her own way.
