Nancy Pelosi,It is very important for us all to realize that we are living under a simple but clever system that has been designed to contain revolution whilst projecting the illusion of being a free, fair and open democracy. The 2-party system provides firm support for the elite to implement their agenda from the top down, whilst the ordinary people at the grassroots level squabble between themselves over which political party is the best. In reality, it doesn't matter which of the two parties you vote for because the same agenda will unfold regardless. Hence, both parties are controlled at the very top by the same force.

I haven't heard of that book, but I'm gonna check it out. This whole idea of "democracy" has be packaged and sold as a product in a very perverse manner. It's obvious that there is a concerted effort to dumb-down the masses and direct their thinking so that the economic aristocracy of this planet can maintain their positions of power and influence. The real question is...how do we wake people up?

You are entirely correct...the Ancient Greeks had long experimented with different forms of "democracy" and had to dismiss them all as utterly worthless...well, this lesson did not go wasted on the Founding Fathers who knew democracies as being as "short in their lives as violent in their deaths"...there are a number of good books that masses of people should read in what little time is left...one I highly urge is KNOW YOUR ENEMY by the late Robert H Williams, Col USAF.
