Laurent Garnier will release his first 12'' single in five years through A Berlin-based imprint Innervisions.
It's a two-tracker called the Back To My Roots EP, featuring the title track and a b-side called PANORAMIX.

PANORAMIX is a tribute to the night of February 29. Laurent Garnier was playing in Panorama Bar (Berghain) in Berlin, maybe the best club in Europe.

Says Laurent: 'During that time I played the demo mix of the Back To My Roots track, which I'd made that week. Dixon jumped on me to ask what it was. He said that he loved the sound of it and asked me what I wanted to do with it, mentioning that he would really like to release it on Innervisions.
'I went back home on the Monday and worked straight away on another track, which I named Panoramix, a tribute to that night at Panorama. I sent a very rough demo to Dixon via download and received a text five minutes later saying that he wanted it. It happened really fast without me having any plans at all.'

We went to Berghain for Drum Code Total...Its a very special place, the vibe of Berghain is totaly uniquiqe due to the building and club layout and crowd vibe...It dosnt matter what job you do, how much money you have or dont have everyone is the same in Berghain...
