  • The music in the trailer is the instrumental portion of 'Champagne'. Thanks for posting this. I really liked seeing it!

  • what song is this?

  • Of course, this trailer spends the first minute trying to turn into the start of Phantom of the Paradise...I kid; I do love this film, and drive my S O spare with my poor Ann-Margret impressions

  • Not gonna lie, "Tommy" is my favorite movie of all time.

  • I'll never forget seeing Tommy for the very first time on HBO and was absolutely blown away by it and became fascinated by all the films of the great Ken Russell, but I still think the original album is vastly overrated.

  • This is kinda like A Clockwork Orange's psychedelia, orchestral score and absurdity mixed with Rocky Horror Show's musical arrangements and fragments of Pink Floyd's The Walls story.

Except one thing; Tommy was BEFORE them.

  • @eieiowens I agree! This great film has undergone an expensive and extensive restoration and remaster from Sony and Columbia Pictures for the blu-ray disc version and was recently screened in DLP at some recent film fests. If you have a good sound system this movie can rock on your HD home theater like never before!

  • They had such sucky previews back then.

  • I have seen this movie countless times, on tv, cable, dvd, vhs and even in the theater. The dvd is good, the blu-ray has the original Quintophonic mix, worth it for that if you have it.

I love this film, yes it is trippy and very dated in parts but the music is incredible. The actors as well plus Ken Russell's direction make it worth your while.

  • @SnugglySara DVDs are crap! Buy the Blu-Ray!
