  • Caitlin's story made me cry. Caitlin is a brave little girl. I understand how she feels. I too, have arthritis. She is lucky to have such good parents. I wasn't so lucky. I hope she will get better each day, and I pray that the Arthritis Foundation finds something that will bring this Arthritis down on it's knees and wipe it away entirely! My blessings to all of you!

  • Thanks scryingeyes! We appreciate your comments. We hope you can help us spread the word and raise awareness.

  • (continued from comment below) At 24 I had a left hip replacement that didn't work, the surgeon didn't do the replacement right. I'm 39 and hope someday a revision hip replacement will help me walk without the aid of crutches. I hope my story encourages you, as your story encourages me. Praying for you Caitlin....be strong.

  • Caitlin is going through a lot of pain, but ultimately JA toughens you from inside and Caitlin is a strong girl.

I've had JRA since I was 9 yrs. I went through school with a lot of pain not knowing what was wrong with me. It wasn't until I was 19 that I visited a Rheumatologist. Living in India and growing up with JRA + Juvenile Spondyloarthropathy is difficult because there is not enough awareness of JA.... (cont.)
