How does one take over a game spending quarters 2 and 3 as a playmaker cooling down? After a quick 13 pts in the 1st quarter, MJ spent the rest of the game teaching the team general playmaking decisions. With only a few open shots out of rhythm during that span, MJ would shoot an unheralded 7-19 in this game but in the 4th, of course, none of that mattered since it was all about the mind's will and desire in the end. Defeating matter yet once again with his mental prowess, MJ took the reins and closed it out shooting 3-4 in clutch field goals with the knockout blow delivered in proper MJ fashion. The announcer capped it fittingly with his emotional stamp.

That sh*t blew my mind when I saw that.

I know he finished the season at 23, 6, and 5. But had he not gotten injured MJ would have finished the season averaging 25 ppg, 6rpg, 5apg and almost 2 steals AT 39 YEARS OLD!

MJ at almost 40 years old did what Kobe is doing as a 31 year old.

How anyone can compare Kobe to this man is mind boggling.

@TyroneNBAFan Thats beccause the NBA is looking for the next Michael. The heralded many players as the next MJ and have been hyping Kobe up before Kobe even suited up for the NBA. MJ at 32(last year) was averaging the same stats that MJ did at age 40. Then Kobe's team is the only team to get swept in the playoffs after just coming off a championship year. Mj at 32 was coming back from baseball & started his 2nd 3peat. Kb's last playoff game was 17pts & 5TOs in an ELIMINATION game=not clutch
