This is my 1998 Mustang V6. I have the stock v6 with only K&N cold air intake mod on it. It has the stock exhaust. I just had the stock muffler swapped out for a Flowmaster Super 40 Delta Flow Muffler. Revs at 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 rpms.

  • No, you will actually gain mpgs. But not a lot. And in my option the 44 sounds like straight shit on a v6. To get the best sound, go with a super 40 delta flow. And get a single intake dual outtake muffler.

  • Its just one that I got from autozone. It just bolts on. But I took it off, and cut the pipe right behind the muffler and now it is so much louder. It sounds more like a GT now. I've had many people ask me if it is a GT.

  • Hi Derrick, I have a stock 1995 V6 and want to put a single flowmaster super 44 on it, will it decrease my mpg? Thanks!
