The Cornerstone Collective group has been created for the purpose of bringing together a peer group of independent artists/bands to help each other with their career development activities and goals. The group is part of a larger entity that includes Cornerstone Collective Records and a management company, Cornerstone Collective Entertainment. There will be opportunities to be assisted by and to work in all of these groups. OVERVIEW: Most of us do the work of all aspects of a record label for ourselves. Some things we shine at and others can fall by the way side at times, and we can sometimes miss opportunities. The idea of this group is to pool resources and skills to be able to fill in the gaps for each other and keep each other on target. We would lessen time spent on redundant tasks, and maximize our resources and networks to be able to help each other and ourselves. We would actually work as each other's label support team. A major part of the group would be spent clarifying our personal career development goals, brainstrumming, soul searching, mapping out plans to achieve our goals and building an integrated group timeline that we all follow that helps all of us achieve our short and longer term goals.
