  • Who's the guy with the long hair and suspenders?...Oh wait?!...that's me!

  • Hey Scott! Long time no see! Thanks for posting! Yeah, too bad we can't simply move this video over to Russ's YouTube account, comments and all.

  • Sweet. I need one.

  • Sorry Pathfinder. I accidentally clicked on remove when I meant to reply to your last comment. You said something like, "If he's just giving them away, I could use one for my bar I'm planning."

  • Yes, that's what I said. Pass it on to him. I'll gladly accept it. ;)

  • As I kept trying to say, but the system wouldn't let me post it, he's no longer in a position to make another one, unless he was offered plenty of money so he could make the time and have the work area again in order to do it. But, as you and others can see, it can be done.

  • nice work for sure, best part of aliens

  • You musty feel powerful on that!

  • Very nice. Looks like my Hot Toys power loader in my video but yours blows everyones away......

  • That suit is way cool. Any chance I could borrow it sometime? lol.

  • Absolutely superb. Must have been really good fun to not only build it but try it out and have it work so well.

  • @jtno2 Yeah all of the replica props now a days are about the shirts or shoes the actor wore never the giant fucking robot... sigh what happened

  • Awesome! I can see that it has some nice articulation going on there - realistic looking mechanical pivot-points, pneumatic/hydraulic pistons.

I can't be sure, but I seem to remember at least some of the FX for the loader in Aliens incorporated the actor in the loader, and then another person directly behind the actor, encased in the loader suit who helped to move the suit around. The two people would then sync their movements up together.

  • this video bought me to tears.....a piece of my child hood!!!!

  • Wow that was epic
