This is me playing The Tall Fiddler at the SCECGS Redlands Gala Arts in 2006. This is probably one of the most technically challenging pieces for using a flat pick because there are three string jumps at an extremely fast speed.

The infamous tech crew managed to stuff up my sound (they do in some way every year) and they put the distortion channel on my amp on. Thats a little note for all those guitarists out there thinking "whats wrong with the bass end of his guitar". I had to go through two and a half minutes of agony playing with it on! Well, in showbiz, you just gotta keep smiling through the worst of it, and thats just what I did!

  • @ex0ja think it is a Maton, EM325C?

  • cool man!

  • thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard, this kid is as close to being tommy asy ou can get without actually being, the only difference is he doesnt have decades of guitar playing under his belt to show off a much larger and broader library of music. This guy definitely has all the right techniques though, and he plays with speed and clarity. If you were anywhere near the level of which this kid is playinga t you would be able to distinguish that he is in fact quite close to Tommy in skill.

  • hey man big fan i just recently learnt this tune as well - its pretty awesome isnt it? if i ever post videos on utube i'll let u know and u should check out my version...nowhere near as gud as urs but haha. plus i think were the same age

  • You are really, really good! Impressive. Nowhere near Tommy, but one hell of a guitarist in your own right. Thanks for sharing.
