  • ...to pay me what I believed I was worth. I always had a new offer lined up before I walked. I enjoyed a high wage and what ever benefits I wanted. The relationship with any employer I had was based on a fair exchange, my skills and time for their money. The employer always had the benefit of higher productivity from me, and higher return from the wages he paid. I took the initiative of rising above and the benefits were all mine, no grade 10 graduate running my life.

  • I have worked for ultra low wages in some deploreable working conditions in my time. There never was any union coming around to "help" us out. I decided to improve my skill set and educate myself and become more productive than the guy next to me. I was always able to directly to the owner of the business and negotiate my own wage, and prove my worth by out performing the guy next to me. If my employer was not agreaable, I negotiated with my feet and found the next guy who was willing...
