After Ceddie's father ides, he and his mother move together to Brooklyn. When Cedric's grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt, passes away too, Ceddie learns he's heir to his father's family's fortune. He is sent to England to live with the unsympathetic lord who oversees the trust.
Love the purity and child-like wonder.

Gosh almighty..but those kids don't look like kids at all more like older adults.. can't imagine why their appearance is so harsh.. perhaps it was meant to be for the movie. Gosh imagine they looked older than their years when they were adults.

I love Freddie's look when he tells his grandfather about Mr Hobbs being able to recite the Declaration of Independence and the adorable stunted look is priceless LOL .. I love this movie.. and can watch it over and over again. - which I do compare to what's tv now a days.

@504Diva - I am a big fan of Freddie Bartholomew - and wonderful story line which shows compassion, love and friendship.. How I wish people would learn from these
types of film. I am dreaming I know.. but I love the concept just the same.
