  • @cnasin1 I saw the original play at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston. Awesome play! This scene is all about love: the love for Christ and the love for our fellow man.

  • Brings back great memories. thank you

  • Thanks for posting this on Facebook again: I think it is still available through dpi and ipi. Easter is a great opportunity to share our remembrances of our Lord and all he has done for us and continues to to regardless of our humanly flawed ways.

  • his name is Bob Tranchell. Not Phil Lamb...

  • That guys name is PHIL LAMB he was a great person and follower of christ. Theresa Davis who played Abby also was awsome and this was in the 80s there was a remake for broadway. By the way I remember the lord because of this production. And still serve him Thank you Kip and The Boston church. I attended the RI church.

  • yeah you're talking about the 90's version probably. The guy who plays peter in that one is an awesome singer, and he used to go to church with me. But then he left to pursue other things :( .

  • I saw this originally in the Old Boston Garden in 1987 and it was powerful.

  • Actually, this is the original 1987 production. There was another production in 1991 that just wasn't quite the same like the original. I was 9 years old when I watched this and it brought me to tears. It still does 22 years later.
