hanafees have thgis kind of wudoo it is must for them to wash the neck as well.Even if it is not permissible but taqleed compels them to go against sunnah.

Last Thursday I was in the shower and I washed myself with shampoo stroking my hair from the forehead toward the neck. After this I cleansed my ears and my navel with a holy sponge. Now I'm worried that I might have done something wrong and I now will burn in hell or perhaps be masacred by righteous people of the one true religion of peace. Please let me know if my manner of self cleaning is legal as I really want to be a good guy and some day go to heaven.

Ya Allah my own mother does it and she still says that everyone does it and that their shaykha told her that it is oke to do it. Qadrullahi wa ma shaa aa faal ya brothers and sisters make dua fo rmy mother and the ummah
