@BreakingB85 I think the graphics of ff9 and ff8 are the same.I like the both games.The only difference between ff9 and ff8 is they have different story lines.

@frostryu That game looks just as bad if not worst then XIII. I hope it sinks the series and bankrupts Square-Enix so they can stop ruining a once great series. Just look how bad they fucked up FF VII.

@BreakingB85 i wouldn't say better.. coz these games are hard to compare... each has it own's story, heroes, feelings... My favourite one is still VII but i had great times playing IX too =)

@wongy2006 I'd agree, except I find XII to be decent. So...X-2 sucked, XI was decent for an MMO (at the time), XIII and XIV are crap...I think it's when Squaresoft became Square-Enix.

me!!! actually this is my ABSOLUTE favorite ff yes the graphics were amazing
BUT back then everybody expected like ff8 quality and ff9 did not bring it soo... yeh ff9 became a hated ff but i dont see what's so wrong
(i know i'm going to get a lot of thumbs down but....) i actually believe that final fantasy ix is better then final fantasy vii
sooo i prefer final fantasy ix more... :)

The thing about these games was that the story, music, everything was amazing, there was a real sense of adventure, nowadays all games are just linear.
So many memories from this game :).
