Here it is: the Regal GS concept! It has Brembo Brakes and a 6 speed manual transmission standard. The Regal GS will not go into production; however the 2011 Regal will. The 2011 Regal will be offered in 2 trim levels: CXL and CXL turbo. Production begins in the Spring of 2010. Enjoy! Please rate and review. This video is taken with my Flip MinoHD video camera.

  • What color is this one called?

  • @pinkiibeauiful White Diamond Metallic, I think. However, they might change the name of the colors like they do every year.

  • look like Lexus...

  • @tokyocityrat You may think it looks like a Lexus, but in fact, it's a rebadged Opel Insignia OPC for the US Market. It'll be called the Regal GS here.

  • @KingBuick or vauxhall insignia vxr in uk ;)

  • @milne98989 Yes. I do wish that Holden would make their version of the Insignia. That'd be nice indeed. :)

  • @KnightChatX Thanks for the information. Are you a member of Buick Forums or some other group? If so, feel free to find me on Buick Forums as (you guessed it) KingBuick.

  • @KnightChatX Yes, Yes. I know all this information. Thanks for posting a comment about it. When I went to Poland this past summer, there were many Opel Insignias on the streets in all forms. If I lived in Europe, I'd own the Insignia for sure!

  • @KingBuick Some newer commercial's say straight out of Germany, the Regal went on sale in April, starting at $26,245. Currently only the CXL model with the 2.4-liter engine is available, but the turbocharged version will go on sale later this year. Currently all Regals are built at the Russelsheim plant in Germany next to the Opels, but by early 2011 the cars will be built in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, alongside the Chevy Camaro.

Many Opel plants have shut down.

  • @KingBuick The Opel version of the new Buick is called the Insignia, and has been available in Europe for the past year with a range of engines from a 1.6-liter four to a 2.8-liter V6, and a wide selection of four-cylinder diesels, each of which come standard with manual transmissions. Perhaps more interesting is that the Insignia is also available in hatchback and wagon body styles. We Americans, as well as the Chinese, get the sedan only.
