This song came from a performance of the Nashville Early Music Ensemble at the Parthenon at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN on Friday, April 18, 2008. The ensemble is designed to perform the vocal and instrumental music of the Medieval and Renaissance periods as well as traditional folk music from several world cultures. The twenty-member ensemble features musicians with diverse music backgrounds but all with experience in early music. The program included music of the court, folk songs, liturgical music and cantigas. The director is Dr. Gerald Moore, a retired music professor from Lipscomb University, who taught music theory and directed the Lipscomb Early Music Consort for over twenty-five years. No sé por qué tienen que meter el tema del independentismo gallego aquí... además, las cántigas, de gallegas solo tienen la letra (que no es por menospreciar el galaico-portugués, es una lengua que me parece hermosísima, casi mágica). Es como si los ingleses reivindicaran los derechos de las canciones de artistas suecos, ya que abundan canciones en inglés allí en Suecia.
