你根本不知道怎么当人。

Do not be so political. HIV is a disaster to all human beings including Chinese. This film is so great because it reminds us of something we have to do.

This is a really great documentary. It shows us how much these children's lives are affected by AIDS, which we wouldn't really know if we hadn't seen this (unless you've been through it or know someone who has).

can you please upload the entire documentary if possible?

ppl, this has nothing to do with the communism. 1st of all, China has abandoned communism since 1980. AIDS crisis happened in early 90's; 2nd, in general, Chinese ppl's life has been proved dramatically. This type of tragedy will not happen again!

I'm in China now, and I'm afraid the situation here won't change before years. Chinese keep on thinking Japan is their greatest enemy, cause it feeds nationalism, but the one who really did them wrong is Mao. He created generations of uneducated morons, and they rule this country now.
A teacher told me "we should not make people think to much, otherwise it could create instability."
Sad sad country. No hope to see a better China before centuries, I'm affraid.

Listen to the podcast at this film's World Premiere at the SILVERDOCS Web site - it includes an introduction by Today Show's Ann Curry. Congratulations to the filmmakers for winning a well-deserved Oscar!!! This is an important, compelling story that everyone should see.

If it turned out like today, what will old communists who want to "clean the evil and create one fair society" from warlords, Manchus and the Big Four Families who owned 80% of incomes of China think? I am NOT a communist but according to those who made the whole country people evil and turned them into mammonists, I PREFER the strict ruling of old communists! At least they really faithfully wanted to do sth for people!
This looks like an important story. Is there more?
