    La plus mignonne de toutes les stars d'Hollywood, inégalée à ce jour. Seules Fay Wray et, dans un autre registre, Betty Page, peuvent prétendre rivaliser. Notez qu'il y a des scènes beaucoup plus chaudes dans le deuxième Tarzan (Tarzan and his mate, 1934), dans lequel Maureen apparaît encore plus dévêtue - pour ne pas dire quasiment à poil ! Hélas, pour la mythique scène sous-marine, ce n'est pas elle qui nage nue avec Weissmuller, mais une doublure. Maureen, je t'aime !!!
