Bashkir Curly Yearling 1st Time Trailer Loading

Such an independent little show off! I should have known the easiest way to get her to load would be to leave her alone with it and go get the camera!

@nags2bitches lol for some yes it does take alot to get used to a ramp. lol in my case with my horse, a bucket of treats! :P

@HorseStoriesLove Thank-you for that; yes I can imagine the ramp does dip in the middle as they go up and make them feel very uneasy ! It must take a lot of getting used to.

@nags2bitches accually they will do it naturally when they have to. also horses find it easier to get on a step up trailer than a ramp because the ramp to them feels like its sinking. also if ur horse is used to a step up it might refuse a ramp for that reason and vise versa

Did she just get in on her own ? I'm intrigued (as are all us British ) how you train horses to step up , as we all have ramps over here and can't imagine how you train them to go in without a ramp.
