pitched, don't own anything, timing really sucks balls this time and this is going to be a long, long rant. Sadly, there's a limit to how much I can rant.

Calla Tor. Nightshade, Wolfsbane and Bloodrose. I am currently at page 230-something of Bloodrose and, well. I couldn't STAND Calla in Nightshade because she didn't even give Ren a fair shot (yeah, I'm "Team Ren" all the way). Shay pushed her into endangering her life and he was just being a total ass and she offered him endless amounts of forgiveness and let him touch and do to her what he wanted. But when Ren did just the tiniest thing that set her off she wouldn't even acknowledge him for weeks! (well maybe not weeks, but she clearly didn't have the same all-forgiveness for Ren she had for Shay). And when she left him at the altar and even turned her back on him when he was crying and risking his own life for her to run off with another guy! Maaaan, that was selfish. She couldn't even promise him to come back for him or call him or something. But she earned my respect back in Wolfsbane, when she didn't want to soil Ren's memory by making out with Shay and stuff while she wasn't even sure if Ren was still alive. That was really ... noble of her. Though I was pissed off when she offered her fogiveness again and again (AGAIN). Shay talked bad about Ren all the time and all she did was glare at him or something, but it was Monroe who actually finally bitchslapped him - and he deserved and needed that slap really A LOT. And yeah, I was hoping for Calla to do that job. But well either way, it's fine with me if the job's been done one way or the other. But when Shay got semi-abusive and angry at Calla for still wearing Ren's ring and then demands she take it off, that's when my patience finally snapped and I really started hating Shay and calling him a son of a bitch, which he really is. Even literally he's a bastard, a Human/Keeper half-breed. Hah. But now in Bloodrose, I think Calla is being a bitch again. Even Ren himself thinks she doesn't give it a fair shot, that she's clearly prefering Shay over Ren. She has slept with Shay twice now and it would only be fair if she gave in to Ren, too, pleased him too and found out how good Ren was in bed, too. But no, she pulls away from Ren and throws herself in Shay's arms one hour later. It just isn't fair. If she's really thinking she's CHOOSING then she should consider BOTH boys equally and give them equal chances. But Ren has absolutely NO chance if she keeps on pushing him away. But opening her legs for Shay. Man. Not fair. Definitely not. I KNOW Calla is going to choose Shay in the end, but still - She should give Ren his chance to prove himself "worthy", too. Especially since they do belong together and they have known each other since they were little kids. That simply has to be worth a whole lot more than the one or two months Calla knows Shay. This is just again this love-at-first-sight-destiny-chose-to-bring-them-together kind of BULLSHIT.
And I don't know if it's true, but I have come across spoiler that claimed Ren would die. If he dies, man that would just be unacceptable. You hear me? Unacceptable. You can't just take the easy way out and kill the other male competitor for the girl's heart. That's the same as having a new girl step in for the other boy to have. That's just as slimy and unfair and dumb. Which brings me to another point, by the way. If I found out I have a long-lost brother who's super hot and can turn into a wolf at a moment's notice, I'd be thrilled, too. I'd want to save him, too. But I wouldn't throw myself into his arms and joke around with him like I've known and loved him all my life. Adne and Ren's relationship just makes no sense, sorry. I would hesitate a bit and be reluctant. Especially if I had to consider that that brother over there is proof that my mom wasn't the only bitch my dad had slept with him. It'd be hard for me to accept and difficult to adjust to suddenly having a brother, after being an only child for my whole life. But well. Whatever.
I'm hoping that Ren isn't going to die and that Calla chokes on sucking Shay's penis. That's all.
