does your's kinda hit a wall at 90mph or so and take pretty long to get to full speed? i tried the same with my 96' grand cherokee with the 4.0 i6 and when you get to 90 it takes forever to get to full speed even if you press all the way down lol and btw i have a new transmission

@MrPizzaman09 Just to clear things up, if you have a jeep, its an inline 6, not a V6. Two completly different engines. I wouldnt even associate the inline six with a junk V6 engine. And I have a 96 4.0. They are oka t taking off, but once you hit 5- mph it accelerates soooooo sloooow LOL

i have a 94 laredo with a cummins manifold and turbo.. i run 65lbs boost and break lose all wheels at every stop sign. im gonna make a video and post it eventually. i swapped both rear ends and put 353's in both. its one bad asss mother jeep.

@drippinblood28 I put a hypertech max energy chip on my WJ jeep and the chip didnt offer half the features it advertised. the best thing to do with the computer is to reflash it. B&G Performance can do it. Its the best thing to do with the new OBD2 computers that bully all mods done trying to keep the engine running stock.

@CrazyXP1700 hey check out my vid of my stock jeep doing 0-60 in under 8 seconds...pretty badasss for stock. Btw, what's your 0-60 time?

Nice jeep man. I wanted you to see my video of my jeep. I have it modded out but the elevation of where i live hurts it plus i havent done the 160 degree theromstat cause im afraid to mess with it. everyone says it can hurt things to change it without a tune. I wanted your input after seeing mine.
-
That's something you would have to have it sent away to a performance shop or somebody that has the programs to be able to change the tune in the PCM.. I don't know if they still sell them or have them but something like a superchips chip would attach to the PCM and change the programming.. Some are programmed to make use of a cooler T-stat.. You don't have to worry about overheating but IMO your just wasting fuel without the proper PCM tune to go with the T-Stat
Did you have problems with the check engine light on your thermostat swap...ive read it shouldnt be messed with or your engine will be hurt?

the only time i had problems was during the winter months, the check engine light would come on. ofcourse the engine was not reaching operating temps fast enough and would stay in the open loop trying to heat it up
As far as the engine being hurt, i didn't notice ANYTHING wrong with my engine, and i drove the ever living crap out of it, long trips (26 hours to Canada) short trips like a mile or so, never noticed anything negative.
never had an oil or coolant leak or anything like that
