I'm buying an R-25 in .308 this year as my next gun, have been interested in it for some time. My local gun dealer says it's action is 'clunkier' than, say a Bushmaster, but I've not yet seen a bad review of this gun; thanx for the video, you've given me yet one more reason to choose this baby!

Lol I'm not complaining about weight I have no problem with it but allot of people do complain about it. 20rd mag to the comment below. Its a magpull

i bought one and the camo does chip horrible.mine is going to be a close range killing machine.putting a milliet 1-4x24 red dot scope.

@redzonehunter69 that will be a sweet setup. the more i fire this rifle and use it in the bushes the more the camo chips so i am seeing that as a big problem but by the time im done with it it wont even have that camo pattern anymore

nice review. they should sell them in black bc i personally wouldnt use it to hunt bc i prefer a traditional "wood rifle". but this would be cool for the range

@SuperGhillie1 I fully agree. I do use it to hunt but this camo pattern is almost to much. I'm thinking about breaking it up some, do a different stock and maybe duracoat it a new pattern

Ever have any problems with the gas block coming loose on you? That block is only held in by two set screws, right?

@357223308 Yes, the Remington R25 is CA legal "if" you install a bullet button. It's not on the list and is only ban based on 2 or more features 1. pistol grip and 2. detachable mag. The bullot button makes it legal in CA by elliminating #2.

btw the yes the FAL does have a legal 308 for california go to american arms and go to california legal arms they have one

I just bought one last week shot it at the range near by after a few adj this rifle is dead on not one shot outside of the black siloute last shot was dead center bullseye and it sounds sweet Im running a luepold VX3 8.5 x 24 x 50
