Best.

usually i tend to prefer the version i see or hear first, but only this is the exception
-
Jonas does not have the vocal range to do this song justice, so for that reason, the song is not as effective as it should be.
-
Love both versions ... just for the record, but wept so much at this :,(

@SongstressofNight there is plenty need to bash him. ok
-
Oh my God... he has a beautiful voice *_*
I like Nick version too, but this is better
-
Michael Ball is the original and best ever Marius. He totally owns this song.
-
@Goodyearmonkey You're joking right? I'm an actor and a mega fan of Michael Ball, but he did NOT butcher this song.
-
.....why is everyone saying jonas did a "fine" job. If you came to this video than you already know that the jonas disney whore butchered this song.
-
Michael has a much richer voice but Nick is so damn good looking!
I don't really see the need to compare Micheal and Jonas. It's very true that they both did their own versions of the songs, their own interpretations, and they do both certainly have different styles. It's okay to express your opinion, but to say Nick disgraced it is going a little too far, when in reality, art has no definition- it's free expression. I personally like Micheal much more, and Jonas does do a good job of singing his part. We all have our own preferences, no need to bash him.

@Whatsmynameagain03 Plenty of people in my generation (roughly age 16) are exposed to artists like Jonas, but that doesn't mean we know talent any less than you do. I loved Michael Ball! I also thought Jonas did a fine job, as well! I appreciate any interpretation actors bring to the role. Jonas didn't disgrace it, or "Les Miserables," or art in general. What disgraces art is what you've basically said here, that there is a "greater and lesser art." Art is what it is, so leave it be.
