No, she's not a cow veterinarian because she likes the fashionable coveralls, big, rubber boots, and arm-length sleeves. What she does like is being on the forefront of protecting the health of our nation's food animals...and our food supply.
Hummm... Makes you wonder does is this vet concerned at all about the "bobby calves" - The ones that go to slaughter at only a few days old... What about the male calves - Is their "welfare" a prime concern when they are slaughtered for "veal"? The idea that "vets" are involved in "food animals" and "meat" is an absolute hypocrisy.

In order to ensure a safe food supply - including meat - the animals must be healthy. Veterinarians protect the health of the animals from farm to fork and help protect our food supply.
