  • Grossman for guitar president you're a shoe in with all these absolutely priceless posts. Thanks again ;)

  • Thats back when showmanship was just part of the performance

Today people have no idea how to put on this kind of a show

There was a local group where I live who use to do this same thing with fiddles

The music is so great and like I said the showmanship well it speaks for its self

Thanks for the memory and post

    Paul

  • I think it's cool that we found out that Tom Bresh is Merle Travis' son! :) Pretty wild.

  • THEM BOYS WERE JUST FINGER SYNCING, THAT WAS ACTUALLY ME PLAYING ALL THE PARTS, WHILST THEY JUST 'PRETENEDEDEDED'.

AWWW, YEAH - SING IT TOMMY - WHERE IS MY FIDDLE?

    ROFL!

THAT WAS AWESOME, THANKS FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO - IT MADE MY DAY!

  • @funstuff2006 yeah i can see where your coming from, Tommy does take it a little to far sometimes but personally i think he is the most technically skilled guitarist at present.I also think he has really done a great thing for finger style guitar and entered it into a whole new generation and kept it alive.keep an open mind about this stuff man

  • @hendrix0is0lord

You were doing fine right up to the whole "Tommy Emmanuel" bit. All I've ever seen him do is take already great songs and play them so fast they deteriorate into jibberish that all sounds the same.
