Orlando's retirement proved short-lived, and just four months later he made a solo comeback in Las Vegas. In 1988, he became the latest in a long line of celebrities to open a theater in the tourist community of Branson, Missouri, founding the Tony Orlando Yellow Ribbon Music Theater with the promise to play some 200 dates there annually. -- Jason Ankeny, All-Music Guide

  • I was 20 & madly in love with an amazingly beautiful 18yr old girl when I first heard this song.

We were apart when the song first came out & I coudn't wait to see her again. I listened to the song on the radio everyday while away from her & always felt closer to her heart every time I heard it. We finally reunited and I've been married to to my best friend for over 30yrs. Whenever I listen to this song my heart still burns with as much passion as it did when I first met my Martha Cecilia

  • A very special song that´s bring you back to memories

  • This at one time was a favorite with me...i just lkiked it and sang along to it. It dosen't hit it off with melike that anymore altho it's still a great song. Cupid by this group is still a goody goody as is Knock 3x..my personal favorite by Dawn. I'm going to Enlish Bay this afternoon but there won't be any oak tree anywhere along Beach ave nere in Vancouver Canada, so forget the yellow ribbon. Chestnut trees?..oh yes!, there's one of them & plenty of Poplars. Thx4 postin'

  • @mozangel:

    Amazing story!
