@swanethecat LA is a blue-collar city. You can't have some guy like this screaming behind the mic after every basket made at a Lakers game. Don't get me wrong, this guy is good, but he is not classy like Lawrence Tanter. Can you imagine a Lakers game with, let's say, John Mason as the PA Announcer? It does not fit. Lawrence Tanter is the perfect PA announcer for the Lakers.

as a heat fan for over 4 years, i have appreciated michael biaponte, but if i had to choose over him id choose the guy for the cavs. his style when he calls fouls with his mystique voice puts me in a trance

This is rediculous! Dave Zinkoff, the public address announcer for the Philadelphia 76ers was the all-time best.

Better than some PA's but I prefer Mason of the Pistons but that is me being a little biased.
