It's true. I've been watching hockey a long, long time and while you might be able to win against a jerseyless opponent, the odds are decidedly against you, and you don't try to fight at a disadvantage against a fighter like Probert. That's just stupid. I've watched a lot of McRae fights and he doesn't lose very often at all. He wasn't retreating out feear. It was out of intelligence.

@0owolf77o0 lemme tell u. u have no idea what u r talking about ok. fighting a jerseyless oponent is 10 times harder to fight against!! why do u think they have the tie down rule (rob ray rule) in the nhl now?? although nilan might have done well in that one particular fight, more often than not fighting an opponent without a jersey is a difficult task for sure
