My report is based on our land mark of cultural heritage; Ekushe February. In quest of the significance of this day, what the new generation know and how they get knowledge through their academic curriculum. As a topic this title is very simple, but after completion my investigation, the explored information is very frustrating.
My report was conducted the student of primary level( class1 to 5 ) and I choose three main stream education medium, that are: Madrasa, Bangla and English. The financial background of the participants were mixed : rich and poor. My investigation excavate some new informations, which never broadcast in electronic media, that is - because of learning method and curriculum, madrasa students never get the opportunity to know about Ekushe February and it's significance. For that reason, one of a teacher illustrated 21st February as valentine day.At the same time, students of English medium showed their negligences to know Bangla language and history of 21st February. And the Bangla medium students know this day through only the structure of `shaheed minar', but don't know it's history or significance.
These are all about of my investigative report. This report broadcasted in Channel One on 21st February, 2007.

It's because of all the crap TV we watch now. When we were kids, we used to watch natok on BTV, etc., because those used to be really good. Now all people ever do is watch those crappy Hindi serials riddled with questionable sense of ethics. For one month every year, government should add interference to foreing television and force local television to offer 99% Bangla content. ;-)
