Cleaning a dam lake 8

Vucha dam lake, (Southern Bulgaria) November 2, 2008. Bulgarian volunteers while starting to drag the collected branches, trunks, and various wooden debris to a remote small inlet. The left over plastic waste near the dam will be quite easier to collect now. That was done on November 1 and 2, during the seventh lake-cleaning action. The whole campaign, which started in June 2008, is organized by the NGO Greenflag and www.offroad-bulgaria.com. The volunteers succeeded to remove considerable amount of floating garbage, mostly plastic bottles, and the lake is almost clean by now.
