Here's conguero Poncho Sanchez sitting in with The Estrada Brothers Latin Jazz Sextet as part of the "Jazz West Coast" festivities in Redondo Beach, CA. We were opening for the Dave Brubeck Quartet and paying tribute to Cal Tjader. Ruben Estrada - vibes; Henry Estrada - sax, flute; Cougar Estrada - drums; Malcolm Ian Peters - bass; Joe Rotondi, Jr. - piano & Raul Rico, Jr. - congas, percussion

  • Yes, this is a Cal Tjader song. Poncho recorded this tune with Cal on "Fuego Vivo."

  • This is something else, you know who is to see Poncho Sanchez and The Estrada Brothers playing together. In reality two great band leaders from the West Coast. I love it. Ricardo S.

  • This a Cal Jater son?
