@l337pwnage Not necessarily. Remember, hitting the brakes won't stop a car instantly. The car can still roll a little before stopping fully, especially if you'd been driving fast beforehand. That's why you need some distance between your car and the car in front of you. And as TheyCannotDrive was driving on an expressway, he was probably going kinda fast before he hit his brakes; hence his car rolled a little after he hit his brakes, bringing him closer to the car than he really was.

@l337pwnage He wasn't tailgating him. The only time he ever got that close to the other guy was AFTER he had to slam on his brakes to avoid rear-ending him due to the other guy suddenly slowing down.

@skidivr No, the guy SLOWED DOWN AND HIT THE BRAKES, you said it yourself. You're not supposed to do that on the highway, it's dangerous and obviously wrong. It depresses me that ignorance of traffic laws is so widespread, to the point that people will argue FOR the people breaking the laws and endangering people.
