i think it may be the bottom part not setup up right, or so it sounds. i would also take a level to it cuz when mine is not leveled right it spins kinda like that but not as bad with the thump.

i think i may have my adjuster rod out too far? i dunno just when it spins it feels like its hitting the grooves of the little pins that stop it from spinning.. does that make sense? so yeah when it does spin it goes thump thump thump on the floor T_T
