Intro to a silver savings plan using pre-1965 coins. The Silver Exchange is a homegrown co-operative to assist others in accumulating silver, in small quantities, as a hedge against inflation.

I would recommend the business model, not as a money maker, but a way to get real money into the hands of people you care for.

  • Hi Sam, this is an excellent way for those to setup a commitment of savings(investing)in silver. An also with your labeling your bags. You can easily come up with a cost average per oz. I like this. I'd like you to maybe choose one of my vids to post this video as a response video. Maybe this one. "Silver Bullion: A Discussion on why you SHOULD diversify 90% coinage with your .999 Bullion Holdings" watch?v=FrX3qjgy1IY If not, choose one that you think your video would better relate to.

  • @WhyMeWhySilver Thanks and added as a fav.

  • Sam, I confused as to what your role is here, other than being a good teacher. If you are offering a service, please explain. Thanks. - NewX

  • Wow Jan '10 1troy Oz@17 FRN Aug '11 1troy Oz@41.30 FRN

    Thank you for the video.

  • If I were the guy in the video I'll keep each bullion and coin in plastic pouches.

  • @paulrvlad see inflation.us for coin dealer reviews and melt values. (upper rt)

I wish they were still in circulation but people have been culling them for decades and there aren't many left in circulation. I found a dime once but that's about it. Now is the time to hoard nickels (melt 6 cents) and 1982 (and earlier) pennies (melt 2.7 cents). It's easy to sort the pennies via ring test but very time consuming.

  • Where do you buy the pre-1965 coins from? Are they still in circulation? So 1965 not included.....1964 and older? Thanks for the information.

  • @kevreilly7 No, Sorry. With 5 kids, there are aren't enough rooms to put them :)

  • Could you put the kids in another room next video please

  • smart man! good calculations. Silver is on a tear

  • thank u so much for sharing-
