"Music is Love or nothing" G. Enescu

P.S. The beginning of the video is made in the bedroom of Mr. Enescu, the teacher of Menuhin, where Katriina was preparing for her performance ;)

  • Hello Jekatherina, you play very well.

You touch te right sound there. Well done!

  • It is not me, but my daughter Katariina playing :)

  • I was just asked to restore this video on my front page. Considering the proposal I have to admit it is a very special piece indeed. Thanks for reminding me this.

  • But Georges Enescu is perhaps the best musician ever! :-)

  • I too am a big fan of Enescu. His interpretations of Handel,Bach,Chausson etc., all sound like he's making it all up.This room you're sitting in - is it in the palace his wife and he lived in?

  • It is Enescu's summer residence and the room was up, on the 2nd floor. That is all I know. A small bedroom were Katariina practiced before her performance.

  • Beautiful tone, especially when high on the lower strings. Bravo.

  • Congradulations for a superb interpretation on a great work, the control of the dynamics is fascinating, especially on the hardest tempo of all, which is the adagio, 5***** and a favorite, thank you, Yorgos

  • Well, congratulations, your daughter is very talented. Certainly a great promise for the future.

    Best regards to all!
