classical liberals are generally against patenting (as in they don't see something that is reproducable to be subject to ownership), especially Austrian economists.
i like Chomsky in this clip despite sometimes having sharp disagreements with what he says on other issues. This is the sort of ground both the 'left' and 'right' libertarians can work together.
