House Votes 220-215 for health Reform legislation
Today
The House on Saturday passed health reform legislation by a vote of 220-215. One Republican, Rep. Joseph Cao (R-LA), voted for the bill and 39 Democrats voted against the bill.

I like David Wu for emailing the pics!!! It shows he is human. How many times have other professionals shared pictures of themselves at company parties to their coworkers, or have even shared their fun side on facebook? There are a lot of sane people who aren't afraid of showing their fun side, even to ease pressure of job related stress! There's nothing wrong with him, there is something wrong with the rest of the people for thinking that Americans would rather have a robot in politics.

My mother had hoped to live to see the day, but at least now she can rest peacefully in her grave knowing that her decades of efforts as a strong advocate for universal and affordable health care are starting to pay off. Now we the people must persuade our representative senators to pass a healthcare bill with the public option. If they don't, I predict the two-party system will collapse into the cesspool where they belong.

a great moment for sure, but this is no time to compromise. it's way short of an all inclusive single payer system.
definitely taking names in the house for 2010. this isn't the end people, it's time to get real serious. push the momentum!
