well i would agree that there should be no beating, that shows the police lost control... and made it emotional. But four cops had trouble with him! I suppose one cop could have placed his knee on his back and force his hands behind his back. But anytime a cop starts to use physical force to try and subdue an assailant you always run into the risk of causing harm. Broken bones or dislocations. it's tough brother to be a cop. But a taze never does any of that.
I never said you dont feel it,and im not saying he should fight with the police, but dont you think there is a better way for police to deal with one stupid drunk?
that's not true at all man... I was in the military and assigned to riot control unit, and I got tasered. you feel every moment of it, it's impossibly to pass out, and as soon as the electricity is gone you regain full control of your body. Trust me we got shocked three times, because they're are people who can get shocked and still fight back. The real problem here was that the drunken fool was resisting the arrest. If he's angry wait till your trial date... don't fight the cops.
He probably was being a defiant asshole, but the thing is,when they use a a taser that makes matters worst, they cant expect the person to sit completely still after tasing them,Its an automatic reflex of your body to move, unless it knocks you out,I think we have seen people get tased so many times that we are not getting comfortable with the idea, there will always be drunk idiots resisting police, but I just think there has to be a better way to deal with this.
@x4167 I just don't understand this. First of I have never been in a situation where I needed to be tasered, or beaten by the police. If I was ever in a situation such as that I would simply comply and do as I was told. Then represent myself in court if I felt anything was done wrong. I think that people such as him, are so defiant that they simply don't care what they do or why. They simply want to do it. Then when the cops come they continue to resist. Well then get tasered!

Just another example of police out of control, why was it so difficult to handle one man laying on the ground?
