Am I the only one thinking that his "American" accent sounds more Irish than anything?
-
@Jambell wonderful, beautiful

I have not heard anyone on TV or film do a Cronish accent properly it comes out somerset and within cornwall there are a hug variety of accents in areas...in fact we have not been speaking english for very long so we are getting used to it
-
true some people call it that, but the official name according to the government/council and whoever lives there is 'Devon'
-
@3tangle3 aye agreed. just because on the map it says england does not make it so, given that people think of themselves distinct, I feel the same way about all of these islands. I'd defend eire/scotland/alba/england/cym
ru/wales/kernow any the same. Calling these places foreign is ludicrous. History has redrawn the borders but I think we should look forward into celebrating our regional characters and our collective aspiration rather than squabbling. and ill be fucked if windsor rules my head. -
everyone type in 'devon language' on youtube and will might be pleasantly surprised. or if you type 'devon folklore' into google.
read and watch these and you will never hear the words 'south west england' the same way again ;)
